BUNAC Volunteer Diaries
Ghana
Loughborough University graduate, Claire Cummings aged 21 and from Merseyside, set off to take part in BUNAC’s Volunteer Ghana programme in February. Claire will be sending in regular web diaries based on her experiences in Ghana.
Peru
Nottingham University graduate, Francis Casson, aged twenty three and from Norwich, flew to Lima in May to start a two month placement on the Volunteer Peru programme.
USA
Twenty-six year old Andy Sykes from Huddersfield is one of BUNAC’s first ever Volunteer USA participants and flew out to Arizona in early June to spend twelve weeks contributing to conservation projects on America’s west coast.
Ghana
Twenty four year-old graduate Elizabeth Spray from Nottingham took part in BUNAC’s Volunteer Ghana programme earlier this year. Find out what she got up to in her diary entries.
Cambodia
BUNAC’s first ever Volunteer Cambodia participant and former Work Australia participant, twenty two year-old Emma Ibbotson from Leighton Buzzard arrived in Siem Reap at the end of November 2005.
Costa Rica
Nineteen year-old Holly Elliott from Whitley Bay flew out to take part in the Volunteer Costa Rica programme in October.
South Africa
Durham University graduate, Lauren Tinsley, aged 21, from Cheshire arrived in Cape Town at the end of July as a participant on BUNAC’s Volunteer South Africa programme.
