Gap Canada 2008 will open in June 2008.

Please be aware that when your work authorisation application is submitted to the Canadian High Commission you will be required to submit a UK Police Background Check and (if applicable) foreign police background checks, you may wish to begin the application for these BEFORE you apply to Gap Canada as these can take at least 40 days to be issued. The Canadian High Commission reserves the right to ask any applicant to take a medical, such requests are generally made on a random basis. You must remain in the UK whilst the Canadian High Commission process your application.

New for the 2008 programme: The Canadian High Commission has introduced a ‘Programme Participation Fee’ of CAN$150 to be paid in Sterling when you send your Work Authorisation Application form. More details about how to pay this will be sent when you apply to the programme.
