Eligibility

You are eligible for the 2008 Gap Canada programme if you are:

• aged 18 - 30 at the time of the visa application and entry to Canada

and,

• a British passport holder

and,

• have a confirmed offer to begin a full-time degree level course at a university in the UK starting in 2009.

If you have a Canadian partner*, you may not eligible to apply to the Work or Gap Canada programme. If you have a UK partner* who is not taking part in the Work or Gap Canada programme, this may also affect your application. If either of these apply to you, please contact BUNAC before you apply to the programme.

* Partner means engaged, married, or have lived together for more than twelve months.

The above eligibility criteria, including upper age limits, are specified by the Canadian High Commission.

Gap Canada 2008 application forms will be available online from June 2008.
